Block Cascade

About the game

Restore a broken stained-glass window, one pane at a time.

Block Cascade is a calm block-placement puzzle on an 8x8 grid. Three glass pieces wait in the tray below the window. Drag one onto the board and let go: it snaps into place. Fill a whole row or column and it shatters into light, freeing the space again. There is no timer. The run ends only when none of the pieces in your tray fit anywhere.

How it plays

• Drag a piece from the tray onto the grid. A cyan glow shows where it will land; a red hatch means it doesn't fit.
• The tray refills only after you have placed all three pieces, so plan ahead.
• Rows and columns clear at the same time, and clearing a row and a column together earns a CROSS bonus.
• Clear lines on consecutive moves to build a streak, up to a 4x score multiplier.

Fair pieces

The pieces come from a shuffled bag, and every new tray is checked so that at least two of its pieces fit the board. When a run ends, it is because of the board, not bad luck.

Stained-glass look and sound

Amber, rose, emerald, violet and cyan panes, lit from behind and set in dark lead. Cleared lines break into falling shards with a glass-bell chime that rises with your streak. All of it is drawn and synthesized by the game itself.

• Plays offline. Your best score and progress stay on your phone; no account needed.

Block Cascade is free and shows ads: a banner, an occasional ad between runs, and optional reward videos to continue a run once, undo a move or double the coins from a run.
