Gem Cascade

About the game

Swap two neighbouring shards to line up three or more of the same colour. Matched shards break, the rest fall, and new ones drop in from the top, sometimes setting off a cascade of matches on their own.

Gem Cascade is a match-3 puzzle game about mapping a shattered aurora sky. Each level is a sky chart with its own goal and a limited number of moves. Reach the goal before you run out and earn up to three stars.

Special shards

Line up 4 for a Stripe that clears a row or column. Make an L or T shape for a Burst that clears the area around it. Line up 5 for a Prism that clears every shard of one colour, and 6 or more for a Supernova. Swap two specials into each other for a bigger combined effect.

60 levels on six islands

Each island adds something new: collect shards of a given colour, melt the aurora film under the board, break crates, thaw frozen shards, and later mix several goals at once on tighter boards and with fewer moves.

Boosters

Start a level with a Stripe already on the board, sweep one colour away or take 3 extra moves. During play, use the Hammer, a Shuffle, +5 moves or a Hint when you are stuck.

Lives

You have up to 5 lives. Starting a level uses one, and winning gives it back. Lives refill over time, one every 30 minutes.

Ads

Gem Cascade is free and shows ads: a banner at the top of the screen, an occasional full-screen ad between levels, and optional videos you can choose to watch for an extra life, +5 moves, a free booster or a daily gift. Ads are non-personalized, and the Google privacy choices are available in the game where required.
