About the game
Tap a tile to scan the seabed. A glowing number tells you how many sea urchins hide in the 8 tiles around it. Use those readings to work out where every urchin is, and clear all the safe tiles without touching one.
Tile Sweep is a calm logic puzzle set in a bioluminescent deep-sea trench. Every board is checked by a solver before it reaches you, and levels 1 to 40 can always be finished by reasoning alone, with no guessing.
How it plays
- Tap to scan a tile. Empty areas open up in a ripple.
- Hold a tile to drop a marker buoy where you know an urchin is, or switch to MARK mode.
- Your first scan of a level is always safe; a glowing beacon shows a good place to start.
- No timer pressure. Your best time for each level is saved if you want to beat it.
New tiles as you dive deeper
- Current tiles (from level 21): an arrow tile counts only the urchins in the direction it points.
- Keel tiles (from level 41): no number, just ODD or EVEN for the urchins in its whole row and column.
- Pressure tiles (from level 61): they count the safe tiles around them instead of the urchins.
Hold any special tile to light up the tiles it counts. A short card explains each one the first time you meet it.
100 levels
Five sections, from the shallows down to the deepest zone, with boards growing from 9x12 to 12x16. A survey map tracks the levels you have cleared and your best times.
Stuck?
Watch an optional video for a hint that reveals a tile proven safe, or to continue once after hitting an urchin.
